That's the level of service you can expect when you enter the doors at Dick's Liquors in Osage Beach. The store opened the first of August.
Owners Richard and Janet Fanning moved to the Lake area more than a year ago. They decided to open up the store, an extension of their business out of Jacksonville, Ill.
A full selection is in stock. Liquor, beer, wine, ice, snacks — anything you will need to make the party or trip out on the Lake complete.
There are even frozen drinks ready to serve in the freezer. All you have to do is put it in the cooler and go. If you need a keg for your party, pre-order a couple of days in advance.
Since the store is new, several things will be added as they continue to grow. The store will soon be selling their own wine label.
Isles of liquor, craft beers, mixers, and wine (import and local) make up the store. The entire wall in the back of the store holds refrigerated beverages.
Get a high-quality single malt scotch or browse through the huge assortment of flavored vodka where you can get anything from bacon flavored to bubble gum and fruit flavors. If there is something they do not carry, if they can get it, they will order it for you.
Besides the liquor selection, novelty T-shirts, visors, koozies, sunglasses, shot glasses, bar accessories and other merchandise can be found. Also look for high-end cigars coming soon.

History
The Fanning Oil Company is a family business based out of Jacksonville, Ill. Bill and Dorothy Fanning founded it in 1954. Richard Fanning took over as president and CEO when Bill passed away in 1980.
Fanning Oil operates seven gas and convenience stores, a Blimpie sub shop and Quiznos franchise, a car wash, a package liquor store and several commercial rental properties.
